Canopy offers deposit insurance to renters through their mobile app, but wanted to refine the user experience. Renters found the app hard to use, not only struggling to provide the appropriate financial information, but more worryingly, understanding the benefits of using Canopy.
Reframing the Canopy brand and app experience to focus on referencing, estate agents were more invested in supporting renters in using the app. This meant referencing could be completed in 5 minutes rather than 2 weeks, directly increasing conversion of deposit insurance.
